The material I used is called: Pro-Seal Type Tank Sealant. I bought the larger 6oz without dispenser and used gloves, q-tips, an plastic utensels to apply and craft the patch. It was under $20 for the material.
Good luck with the repair - while not fun it's much better than swapping tanks. Just take your time and you'll have good luck. Let me know how it goes.
