Tom,
If it helps I just bought an 03 Wagon and I drove it home with the same complaint. The next day I took it in for a wheel balancing and the technician pointed out 2 warped wheels that were on the back. I bought 2 used wheels, had new tyres put on and it is smooth now. I am told that the aluminium wheels are prone to wharping from as little as hitting a "slow you down bump" going too fast, they are soft and weak.
Good Luck,
David.
