Congrats and best of luck in the final stretch and push.

We have twin boys, now three, and used two Graco infant carriers, rear facing position. Pay the few extra dollars, and get the base, which you then attach using belts, or the LATCH UAS system. Then you just bring the carrier to the car, put into the base, and drive away. Saved us a lot of time fiddling and fussing, and adjusting, as in how do you put your weight on it to tighten it while the baby is in the carrier?

Sneak off and get some sleep, and take care of yourself too in the next few weeks. You will need the stamina once baby arrives. Take it from me, it is no time to have an abcess on your appendix, two weeks before the due date. But we got through it all!
