Please take a motorcycle riders class, hopefully they can get the "If I ever have to lay it down" fallacy out of your head. The ONLY time that you'll want "to lay it down" would be if you want to slide under a semi-trailer. A motorcycle will stop a lot quicker if you keep it upright, and brake. If someone tells you "that I had to lay it down", it means that they tried to stop but due to inadequate riding skills, they dropped the bike. This can be easily done by those who also believe that you never use your front brake.
