Don't get confused with serp belt and timing belt...

They both have pulleys, belt, and tensioner. It's way more work, and way more critical, to have the timing belt done "right". A broken belt or pulley here can destroy an engine instantly. A bad serp belt or pulley will just leave you at the side of the road (unless you keep driving with a broken belt...).
You don't want to leave the timing pulleys to 100k. It's lots of work to take it apart and put it together, and I've heard here of lots of 'disasters' (before 100k) when just the belt is replaced.
I know the serp belt pulleys (at least the smallest one) barely last to 60k. Mine was trashed at that time so it was replaced. But if you want to wait to 100k and see how it goes, at least it'll just be a tow if it dies unexpectedly. I have a 4 (not V6) so I can't tell you what a V6 timing belt pulley is like at 60k.
As a 'second opinion' I did have a Nissan V6 pickup for 13 years. It required new belt and pulley every 60k during that time as well (I think I did it three times). The tensioner pulley was definitely showing wear at that time.
