BBS is a German Alloy wheel Company that makes excellent wheels. On this board BBS wheels refers to the BBS RK-II, which is a 2 piece wheel with "spidery" spokes, 8x17 inches. It was available on 9-5 Aero in '00 and '01.

There are other versions of the RK too. There is the 17" RK-I (one piece) in various widths (7, 7.5, 8) and there is even a 16" RK-I that I have seen for sale here and there.

The RK-II is a beautiful wheel, and very strong, The rim is clear coated aluminum and the spokes are painted alloy.

the bad: the clear coat on the aluminum tends to de-laminate allowing moisture underneath and causing discoloration of the aluminum rim. Eventually the clear coat peels off in chunks.
