it's a common occurence in off-road motorcycling.
One of the key things is to remove the plugs then run the starter. this way, you avoid an hydro lock (resulting in bent rods or worse.
Then, I agree, change the oil and the air filter. Any item that's normally greased and has been in the water should be regreased too (eg door hinges, etc...). And if there's a chance some electrical connection have been underwater too, disconnect them, air dry them with a compressor or use WD40 and stuff some dielectric grease in the connections...
I'm sure you can find an exhaustive list of steps on Google should you need more.
