just my 2 cents:
1 - rear main: I assume its not leaking all that badly. its odd that it is leaking at his low mileage though. You can drive the car an awful long time with a leaky rear main.
2 - a 9-5, especially a wagon, can easily chew up rear tires in 10k if the rear is sagging or out of spec. very odd that this would happen in the *first* 10 k.
3 - sludge. check for sludge, be sure to change the oil frequently and use good quality oil filters.
4 - do the PCV #6 update
5 - verify that the mileage is actual.
6 - do the fuel clip recall
7 - hows the SID?
8 - maybe upgrade the stop arms on the ACC (known to break)
9 get an IRIS report from a dealer
at this age with such low mileage it might we wise to change out the fluids that tend to deteriorate over time:
- flush coolant
- flush brake
- flush PS
tranny fluid is prob fine but I would put it on a strict drain and fill schedule starting at your next oil change.
best of luck with it, and post pictures!
