Coolant leaks of this caliber only happen in one of two places--near the very front of the car (radiator and related hoses) and at the firewall where the hoses go "inside" to the heater core. Yep, I would definitely get up underneath there and check to see where that coolant is coming from. If the bottom side isn't wet then it's probably coming from the A/C drain which means the heater core is leaking. If the bottom side is wet (i.e., the leak doesn't have a clean getaway through a hose) then a coolant hose is loose or cracked. I'd prefer the latter. Labor for heater / evaporator repairs are laborious. By the way, I'm no expert. Get a second opinion!! :)
