get an idea of what it is, coolant is going to go down a lot quicker than oil would i would think, and it would burn off the whole time, probably making smoke the whole time you are driving. having it be present only from a cold start up suggests strongly of the turbo seals going bad, this can be an expensive fix done at a dealer, or a not so bad one doing it yourself or a chance to up the turbo to an aero spec! some people on here have driven for tens of thousands of miles on a failing turbo, mine failed hard after about 3 mo. after i noticed the smoke on start up, could have been an issue for a long time but car was still fairly new to me. and i didn't know to look for those things.
