My dad has a work car, chevy malabu, which is an 07, they just bought it for him at the begining of the year, and he has an 07 silverado long bed. and my parents have a 06 tahoe. these were to replace a 93 ford areostar, a 91 ford bronco, and our old 1970 ford F100 that my brother and I got from our gandpa which we reconditioned, painting it smurf blue, which was the car I got to learn how to drive on (3 on the tree, mechanical breaks and clutch, and no power stearing... that was _fun_) my first car was an '88 mazda 626 I paid $500 bucks for. It had a 2.2L engine in it, that was popular in japan with a few cars, and the ford probe, so I was able to do a lot of tuning to it, and re did the suspention. It was quick, a 5 speed, probably one of the easiest cars to drive, it was hideous though, but I didn't care. My parents donated it before I got back from living in europe (where I was lent an alfa for a while, and drove ford fiesta, but since they were not mine I don't count them) so I couldn't keep it when I got back.
so I went out and bought the saab, niether of my parents thought it a good choice, but I didn't really care, and am glad I picked it over the other cars I was looking at.
