If you've never done so I'd clean the throttle body while your digging around checking the vac lines (search this or the OG 9-3 board). If the DIC/IDM was replaced you'd also want to make sure that all software updates were done as well. I know others have used low octane fuel but from my pov these cars fuel management systems are somewhat finicky and only use high test some have notiiced decreased performance and sluggishness with "summer" gas. Clean the TB (watch that O-ring) and run a 20gal bottle of Techron Concentrate and see if things improve. If after that, assuming all vac lines are good, things dont improve then I'd start suspecting a bad MAF or electronic components of the TB
