Those holes don't do nuthin, honey Posted by adl6009 [Email] (#2526) [Profile/Gallery] (more from adl6009) on Thu, 4 Oct 2007 08:01:03 In Reply to: What's the difference in brake rotors?, Jay, Tue, 2 Oct 2007 18:23:23 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I don't think. When I did my fronts on the 99 se I have I did a bunch of checking. One test report I found, through a posting on this BB, stated test results showing no advantage to the swiss cheese rotors. I installed brembos from eeuroparts some 35k miles back and have had no problems. i have been unhappy with the pagid pads I installed. They work fine, they just produce as much dust as the originals did. When I did the brakes on my 2002 arc, I installed the brembos again, but this time I installed saab pads. they were supposed to be manufactured by a new supplier and produce much less dust. I am very disappointed with them. They brake fine, but produce just as much dust as the oems. I am researching what pads to buy for my 99 9-5 as it is time to do that car again.
