I went w/that size for some nokian wr's on my 9-5. Have them on a volvo 850, too. Went w/the standard winter size on the volvo. Great results w/the volvo. We've been too busy to swap them out for the summer tires on both cars, and they have worn well.
For several reasons went with the 215-60's on the 9-5. In part I was out in bad weather on bad roads at times and was concerned about clearance, they were available and much cheaper; I have the lower aero suspension, and had a couple of trips in deeper snow that I was plowing a bit of a path. FWIW, The speedo error is fairly minor, but does exist.
It was a bad call. Still love the aero suspension, but have regretted the sacrifice in handling since day 1, especially if something quick happens on the highway, when it is much more squirmy. I wouldn't make that mistake again. On the other hand, I might be willing to give you a super deal on some used ones! I'd HIGHLY recommend the Nokian WR's ;-)
If I was really dealing with serious weather, I'd probably think about the 15" option. FWIW, The speedo adjustment for a recommended tire size change is a quick tech II setting. I don't recall which was the closest one for the 60 series, but I think it was the normal 16" wheel.
