Had to jump the car tonight

After getting home from having the new tires installed, I decided to detail the car. After working on the inside for a few hours the car wouldn't turn over (the radio was on, and I was moving the seats back & forth but I always do that when I'm detailing the inside and I've never had this problem). It seemed at first that it wanted to start, but then just clicking, as if the battery had some juice but not enough to turn the car over. The radio still worked but everytime I tried the ignition the lights got dimmer & dimmer. I wouldn't have thought much about it, but I got a "Service Theft Alarm" message earlier this week and I'm wondering if the issue originally was the immobilizer and then after trying to turn the car over a number of times, I finally drained the battery.
Is this something to do with the alarm system?
