The glass is expensive, so if you have a replacement, salvage what you can. The body with the springloaded swivel is the most expensive part, and the motor is under $100. All sold separately. The mirror attaches entirely from the inside, screws hidden behind the trim, which pulls off gently, and a foam piece beneath also pulls off. It will depend on what gave way when the mirror got whacked- if the inside screws were yanked out of the mirror body, they may have been wrecked, and if the door body gave way, you have damage there that's tricky to fix.. The glass is held onto the motor by a sort of wire spring ring maybe 2" around, and even if the glass broke, save this because it is sold separately and a pain to find.
The main issue will be whether body parts were deformed - fixing that is a black art. The mirror parts are very simple mechanically.
Finally be sure you have thge right mirror, as different models have more or fewer wires dep on heated or not, etc.
