my first set if mxm mich. lasted 65,000 miles
could have gone more
2nd set almost the same but i had to take them off due to alignment wear at 55,000 miles .
now have kumho at $86 each and only 1,000 miles so far
the michelin give quicker response and are a better handling tire.
but unless you are going to go bananas on back roads you will get used to the k tires in 1,000 or so miles . jsut know that they are not as quick to react as the mxm.
my car 1 a 9.5 2000 aero
also have a new 9.5 aero 2007 with pirelli p6, these tires are notch below the kumho in handling and have a wandering sort of feeling vis a vis the mxm.pirelli,in my opinion has never made good tires except occassionally . michelin is more consistent on quality and handling atributes.
