On a recent trip, I filled up with what I thought was premium fuel, as usual.
My Aero ran like a dog on that tank of gas; MPG dropped 2-3 according to SID & the car just didn't have it's normal "ommph" even in Sport mode. So I burned out that tank of gas and filled up at my local place & almost instantly, my car was back to it's old self. Higher MPG, performance, etc. Although I paid for premium, I'm fairly certain I got regular unleaded.
Moral: Give the Saab what it craves.
(Mine seems to prefer Shell V-Power 93 octane)
