The infamous Orange Relay may be the cause of your headlamps failing to illuminate. It usually fails due to the solder connections inside the relay cracking. Some owners have been able to re-solder the connections to avoid the high cost of a new relay. I bought an aftermarket relay from eEuroparts for about half the OEM price when mine failed, but still $45.
The slow to start cabin fan is often the first sign of a failing fan motor. The only real cure is a new fan at nearly $300. It is possible to replace the worn out brushes in the motor, but the motor commutator is almost always heavily worn too, and new brushes are only a stop-gap measure.
