I had some kind of problems with my headlights last summer and resoldered the joints in the orange relay under the hood. The lights have worked fine ever since. If you have an iron or gun try that first. Be careful when reinstalling it, don't rock it too much side to side, try pushing straight down.
If you find your fan is going south, don't try the replacement brushes. I tried that and in the end it was a waste of time. Just buy a new one from Eeuroparts or somewhere and do it right the first time, it's a PITA to keep removing/replacing the wipers and everything else in the cowl.
