Same car as you, and I keep my tires at 40psi (front) and 40psi (rear) as taught to me at the Aero Academy. The higher pressures help combat side wall deformation during spirited driving, BUT, maybe you're not that kind of driver ... so the tire pressures stated in the manual would suit you if you like a softer ride. Potholes on your everyday driving route...? then a higher pressure gives some protection to your soft alloy rims when you hit one. Personally I try to avoid even the little ones ... drives my wife crazy, but then she'd say "it's a short drive." : )
Can't answer your 45K service question ... too many variables (indy or dealer...? find a good indy and get to know them) My advice: fix what's broken. Small problems/gremlins have a bad habit of becoming bigger ones if not dealt with when manageable.
