It was very straight forward. Each DI has 4 torx screws on it. Remove those and the DI's lift straight out. The electrical connectors give some people trouble. They're a pretty neat design. Put a flat head screw driver between the black part of the connector and the red surface and twist the screw driver slowly. They use a sliding cam to lock in place. As you slide the red piece out the connector backs off. I think it's an urban myth but people say to keep them in the downward position when they're out of the car. The same position as when they're seated. It can't hurt I guess. For the back bank I just unplugged some of the vacuum hoses and electrical stuff that was in the way and made sure I remembered where they belonged. Be careful though, some of the vacuum hose nipples are prone to break off. Ask me how I know. Then make sure there's no crud down in the spark plug holes. If sand falls into the cylinders it's not a good thing. I used compressed air and the shop vac to clear them out. Then use a deep drive socket (sorry I forget the size) to take the plugs out. When you screw the new ones in make sure not to cross thread them and only hand tighten them. You're screwing into aluminum which is really soft. Then reassemble in reverse order. The DI's should come pre-"lubed" with dialectic grease. Good luck.
