I recently found this interesting device. It's a... tape. Well, not quite. Actually it is an mp3 player. It has a SD card slot for memory (it is flush woth the tape, I just slid it out to show where it goes), USB port for data exchange/charging, and a headphones jack. It works as a simple player with on/off switch and back/forward buttons for tracks (you can see them on the picture). What's unique about it is that it also works as a standard cassette It has a magnetic head and once you stick in in the cassette deck it starts playing through the radio. It also shuts down automatically when the radio stops, so you don't waste batteries. And, to my surprise, you can change tracks! By pressing forward and rewind buttons on the stereo for about 1.5 seconds the unit senses speed change on the rollers and switches to a next or previous track! The sound quality seems very good and convenience is amazing. And best of all - clean install and no modifications required!
