Caution: this may not be relevant as I am in UK-and.......my last car was a 9-3, but at some point I had the console apart(don't ask why!). When I dismantle my Saabs I note the part# of bits in case I need them in them in the future. I have a note which may help you (as I suspect the parts mey well be common to both cars)...Key surround/transponder aerial receiver unit: marked "52010466 beige 52010396 grey". To remove unit, remove key, and twist transponder unit gently around 1/8 turn clockwise and lift up. But when you have released it, DO NOT disconnect the transponder unit until you have first disconnected the car battery-and as you probably know, it is best to switch off ALL electrical consumers before you do that (don't forget the A/C or ACC even if it's not running).
