I'm replacing my 1992 9000 with a newer saab within the next month or so. I'm a little concerned about what year to get [would like newer than 2000], as far as part availabilty goes since we do a lot of work outselves. I'm definitely not buying brand new. I've had a few snags at 2004's. 2003's seem to be out, research has shown they switched all sorts of parts during the year due to the GM aquisition [unless someone can convince me otherwise].
What do you guys think about the different years and part availability? Also, the 9000 is pretty easy to work on - how are the newer models?
Though i'd like to snag a 9-5, the 9-3's are what's out there mainly, and they are pretty sweet cars.
Any Pro's/Con's, let me know.
Most of the cars i've been seeing are around 2004-2005 and anywhere from 11,000-15,000 [not spending 15,000], with relatively low mileage. Under 50,000 typically, some down to 23,000.
Thanks
-HB
