I've had my 01 Aero since 04 and 40K. I've got 87K now.
I had two C900T's before this.
Here are my thoughts:
The car rides and drives like a Saab. The seats are not as comfy as my old 900T. The tranny is much much better. Overall I'd say it's a better car. It's fast. It's REALLY fast. I've had very few problems with mine, a CPS (replaced in 30 minutes and $60), a fuel pump that I THOUGHT was going bad (again DIY pretty easy), and the infamous DIC died early on.
Knock on wood, this car has been very trouble free. I take good care of it though.
I would stay away from the 99 model, and folks say that the seats in the 02 are a lot better. Other then that I would buy another 9-5 if I had to. Great car.
Get someone to check the engine for sludge before you purchase it - that's about the biggest problem.
I use Mobil 1 and have no sludge. No engine or turbo problems yet either!
Enjoy!
