I have a 2001 Saab 9-5 that is having a nervous breakdown - or mechanical issue - hope you can tell me which. It began with a front light failure warning for the right headlight - replaced the lamp - still got the warning - and my bright "idiot light" wouldn't show up. Lamp was replaced twice - then the left light began with the same - mechanic check and removed relay wire (?) then replaced it (took it out and put same wire back in) had my headlamps, no warnings, and the bright idiot light showed up. During this time also had the car once or twice not "start" when I turned the key - a few seconds later it did - I didn't worry.

Now - several times a week - the car will be running perfectly - then I turn it off - come back and turn the key - the system starts up but the car does not - runs through all the standard "checking" - says "Check ok" but the car does not turn over - no click, no groan, no nothing. Wait a few moments - car turns on.

Nervous breakdown for it or me? Appreciate any thoughts.
