Here is what I carry in the trunk of my Aero:
- Serp belt
- set of 3 pulleys
- IDM (aka DIC) stored right side up.
- epoxy (to repair a leaky heater valve in situ)
- known good CPS (aka CKP)
- paperclip to bypass faulty NSS - quart of oil (M1 0-w40)
- 1/2 gallon of Saab Blue Antifreeze (I have an '01)
- old window switchpack (hey its a Saab, you know the window switch will fail, withthe window open, just as a rain storm is about to hit ... how do I know this?)
Most of it fits on top of the spare, the rest (IDM, Antifreeze) is secured to the side of the trunk (out of the way so that I can open the trunk floor without moving everything around)
Of course the best thing is to stay on top of maintenance (which I do!)
