Can you post a link to the Volvo DIY instructions?
Volvo, Saab, BMW, Audi...and a bunch more all use the Bosch 5.x ABS controllers. All very similar in the little wires braking inside. A friend of mine repairs these, and he says they are very tricky to do correctly
