think you're okay wth all you did. if it's any consolation, I don't use anti-seize at all on the plugs - considering i change them every 18-25k miles.
there really is not art to changing plugs, BUT, it is good to ensure they are aligned straight up prior to tightening so threads aren't cross threaded and plug will contact at optimum orientation.
