and use these. The roof load is something on the order of 200 pounds or so, which is a good bit of lumber. And you CAN overload it a bit for short distances.
The best thing about racks is that you don't have to worry about damaging the interior, which is easy to do no matter how careful you are. I use racks for small loads but have a utility trailer for bigger ones, or stuff that would require multiple trips in our wagon or my 9K.
