I had the major guard warranty on a 2000 Subaru wagon. They were pretty good to deal with. Only thing, if there is ever a big repair, they will send an inspector to check things out and you have to get all repairs approved before they will pay. This is how it goes, 1, bring car in, 2, tech diagnoses problem and calls gm for approval, 3 tech does repair and then gm gives them a credit card to charge. I had to have a gm inspector come out twice to the Subaru dealer because of engine work, it takes the gm inspector at least 1-2 days to get there and do the inspection.
Honestly, if it was me, I would keep searching until you find a CPO Saab, the CPO program is just unbeatable and you get a loaner everytime and you dont have to deal with any BS. I've had 2 Saab CPO vehicles, and trust me, it is worth it.
