One thing that keeps coming up in GM restructuring is GM dumping Saab. This is inevitable due to poor continued sales because of the mismanaged product line. So locally, what this meant to me on our 04 CPO Aero is the closing of the local dealership, the only Saab dealership in a 150 mile radius, is no readily accessible warranty service is available, and no local parts supply either. This would sure impact any Saab owner with a warranty.

With my other car, a 00 9-3 SE with 136k on the clock will be minimally affected, I do most work myself or use the local indie. I order most of my DIY parts on line from EEURO, SaabSite, Genuine Saab and various Saab boneyards.

You know you will still have a Honda and Toyota dealer hany where ever you live, so that would definitely be a factor in purchase of a new or CPO car. It only makes sense. You will likely need some warranty work for a Saab at some point. I have had seven of these things, so I know this.
