Saab is a mature brand. I doubt the product lines would just be shelved. I know the 9-3 shares running gear with other GM models now, but the 9-5? Hmmm. I guess they did it with the 9000 so who knows.
But turbo charging is important and Saab has been good about doing that economically (from a production perspective). I remember when AMC went out of business. Their legacy lives on, it's called the Jeep. The smaller variant of which is still basically the same model as AMC made.
