and it even got down to -10F here in Toronto the other night, but it felt colder with the wind chill effect.

Remember, -40 Fahrenheit and -40 Celsius are where the temperature scales meet.

When I lived in Jonquiere (now called Saguenay) twenty years ago, even with a block heater, it made more sense to walk the mile and a half to work, than to sit in the cold car, and freeze into a block while driving it in.

I would love to see a map showing the southern limit of those outside posts, where you "tie up" your car. They will be wonderfully convenient, if electric plug in cars ever become common up here. By the way, how do you heat the inside of an electric car, efficiently?

Here in the "south" I just go out with the extension cord, and plug it in for an hour before I go to work.
