That is a double line pinstripe that runs the length of the car. It's black and red. It is on my short list to have it removed (hopefully this summer while I am working and have money). Unfortunately it was painted on by the original selling dealer when the car had 9 miles on it (it was actually on the CarFax) so I sort of have to have it done by a body shop. People have suggested glass-top stove cleaner or paint thinner as a DIY removal method, but I don't trust myself with paint thinner near my car...

And thanks for the picture compliment. That is one of my favorites so far. It's tough to get good ones in CT's winter when everything is dirty and grey/brown.
