I have a 2002 9-5 Arc with Xenon headlights (factory installed). After 7 years, the driver's side bulb burnt out. My local Saab mechanic replaced the bulb yesterday with a D1S bulb ($190 dollars!). The problem is, the light is contstantly on low beam, it will not go into high beam. Is there a separate bulb for the high beam or is the D1S bulb both low & high beam?
The passenger side Xenon headlight/bulb (which is original to the car when it was new) can go into high beam.
If anyone could please assist me I would really appreciate it.
