Then I needed a large hose clamp, just like you. I had a 2-inch to 3-inch Fernco coupling (rubber reducing plumbing coupling) just laying about, so I scavenged the right size hose clamp off it.
My wife extracted the old inlet snorkel and installed the new snorkel from topside without any help from me! But the pre-2002 front ends are much different.
You should feel a noticeable difference with acceleration from 40mph and above. The car will pull much stronger. Great for passing!
