I just changed the plugs on my new 2001 Aero. Based on what I had read here, I went with the NGK copper plugs, gapped to 1.05mm. The old plugs were really nasty platinum plugs that must been there for quite a while. The interesting thing is that the gaps were much narrower, like 0.70mm. I am used to seeing the gaps widen over time. I also changed the air filter (old one had lots of bird seed in it) and changed the oil (castrol 10W30 dino with Auto-RX). Anyway, the car runs great now. Next steps for me will be to install the PVC#6 and a new thermostat.
