Suggest to start you remove underbonnet soundproofing and check for fluid leakage at all connections. Operate the washer system with the soundproofing removed, and check for leakage. If you find any you may need to replace some piping and/or checkvalves. This would cause the symptoms you describe-I've had that problem myself. You don't get fluid in the engine because either the heat dissipates it, or the fluid runs down inside the bonnet skin and finds its way out by that route. If these checks draw blank then you will have to dig deeper and check the pump fluid connections behind the wheelarch cover. And,yes,it could be blocked jets if nothing else proves the cause: disconnect and blow through with tyre pump to clear-or replace if no luck. The jet heads do not cost too much to buy. Lastly, is the pump itself still OK-not tired? Good luck
