I figured out that if you take the pins out from where the arm connects to the actual deflector, it gets rid of the bending force on the clip. So I think I'm going to use some Gorilla Glue on the underside of the clips and put a weight on them while they're detached. I just can't believe the plastic they used for that part is so cheap. The little spring puts a surprising amount of torque on the clip. I think there's enough of the broken clip left to glue it down, hopefully... I'll probably work on it tomorrow and post an update. Hopefully it doesn't rain.
