I think GG is good when the stuff your gluing is porous and the glue can soak into it.
The two part epoxy is anything like JB weld, Locktite two part, etc.
The best I’ve used is Brownells acraglas. It dies rock hard after a day.
But you’d have to mail order it.
I don’t know if JB is epoxy or not.
Should have something good at Lowes / home despot / ace hardware.
