I am fairly sure it is not the hub, I just replaced the hub and bearing,(I did have the sharp pop when I hit the brakes in reverse which was the hub noise) and I am now more thinking it has to be in the strut, if I start out real slow, it will POP POP POP, as the weight moves back, and sometimes I can here a little spring Ping. So i am pretty sure it is not in the sway bar. I tightened the sub frame bolts and nothing their. I have not looked at tranny mounts, but since i can get it to do it by sometimes turning the steering I don't beleive it is from them. looks like I will pull the strut and start their except I can not make the noise by bouncing the car, so this has me confused, bad strut or strut mount Should make noise if you bounce the car?? pulling the strut is easy but I have to borrow a spring compresser to really check it out.
