I know, because I put one there after hitting a pothole 80 miles from home and had to limp home at 50mph after that thanks to the compact spare on the right rear. The right front was bubbled from the pothole too. As I needed new tires anyway, I kept the best remaining tire from the left side and mounted it on a spare alloy rim I had (thanks to a friend scraping it horribly on a curb, I had it replaced and kept the scraped one just for this). It fits perfectly back there, and no more risk of 50mph speed limits!!
