A lot of Swedish auto press agencies have driven the 9-5. They say the interior materials are top-notch, class leading even. And seeing pictures from the Insignia and what GM has put in some of their latest creations I believe it. I have also read that Saab used the A6 as a benchmark for the new 9-5's interior quality. I cannot wait to see this hummer in the flesh, and drive one.
GM released specs, standard equipment, and optional equipment too. So far it looks like the 2.8t V6 is in the base model, and the Aero gets a 2.8t HOT, probably with direct injection and 300+ horsepower. I still hope to see a 4-cyl somewhere in the lineup but it's understandable if they need to start off with somewhat limited offerings. XWD is optional. As well as dual monitor rear-screen DVD entertainment, tri-zone climate control, etc... See below. Obviously, the picture are of the current gen, but all the specs are for the NG9-5. I'm betting Europe will get a larger variety of engines including 4-cyls and they'll come to the US later.
