Thank you for the post. Our Aero Sportwagon is an '02 with appprox. 70k miles. A manual trans would be nice! For summer I have the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 225/45R17 which are fantastic. I am considering the Michelin X-Ice Xi2 205/55R16 as a replacement for the Gislaveds. It is surprising how well the Gislaveds have worn. Mine have approx. 7/32" of tread remaining. Where I live in the midwest, snow is not a constant condition so these tires have been run on clear pavement most of the time. Your point of how quiet the new Michelins are is noted. The Gislaveds have always suffered from highway noise.
