Sure, it's possible. It all depends on how much time and effort you are willing to put in to it!
What I wrote earlier is exactly how I did it on my 1984 C900 turbo. But I went several steps farther.
Power was taken from the Alternator's main charging post, as this was closest to the fuse box.
The dash switch was a repurposed rear foglight switch. The wire that activated the relay was wired through the existing fuse box connector using an unused pin location.
The DL relay was located in the auxiliary relay box, and was grounded via a low beam filament. It was a double pole relay. From the relay, each DL had a fuse for the filament.
A quick glance at this would make one think it was all factory. The only splices were in the wires to the DLs themselves.
On a 9-5, I'd start with a wiring diagram. Perhaps there are unused relay locations and fuse locations that could be made to work (there usually are). You can probably pull the current for the lights off of one of the maxi fuses near the battery. What can get expensive is getting the right wire contacts that go in the unused fuse or relay locations. Some can cost as much as $5 each! And the only source is the dealer.
A bigger problem will be mounting the lights. I'm sure brackets were available in Sweden for mounting these lights, but not here!
Good luck!
