I was having some problems with slight pinging and occasional rough idle, so I decided I would it an Italian tune up. (04 Arc wagon with auto) so I warmed it up, switched to paddle shift mode and hammered it on the highway ramp, keeping the engine at 4K for about 4-5 miles.. then I exited and ran up through the gears (only 3rd, bounced of the limiter in 2nd...). I noticed now there is no pinging and the engine idles more consistently. These cars rev really low most of the time, I think I will rev mine once in a while.
