My 99 9-5 autobox had over 300 Hp.
Apart from being smooth on/off the power and not doing burnouts/wheel spins all I did was change my tranny fluid often. ( single drain & refill every second enging oil change).
Once I goofed up on the qty to refill & left it about 2 quarts short & the tranny slipped for the first 5 seconds of engagement. I made it down to the local wally world, refilled it two quarts & the tranny didn't slip anymore.
Did you do the drain & refil or the power vacuum refill ? The power refill can sometimes damage seals on an engine that has very dirty oil. The settled krud gets blown into suspension & attacks stuff on the way out of the tranny during the process.
Good luck - at least check your tranny levels with the engine warm, running and on level ground.
