The minimum thickness is stamped on the hub of the rotor, clean off the brake dust and look closely. The rotors probably need to be replaced at that mileage. The job isn't bad at all, but sometimes they stick to the hub and need some persuasion to come off. Also be careful about rounding out the set screw, but if you do just drill the head off and replace it.
